Writing is a large part of what we do. It doesn’t matter how good a project looks — it doesn’t really work unless the content is solid.
Screenwriting
We love telling stories (and the Caribbean has such good ones)!
We were thrilled to be part of The British Council Script Development Workshop, facilitated by script development consultant, Ludo Smolski, who also happens to teach the National Film and Television School’s Postgraduate Diploma in Script Development. The sessions focused on the “concept and practice of good script development by focusing on the role of the story editor and how they work with screenwriters and producers”.
A drama series we’ve been working on, “Silk Road”, was chosen for the Caribbean Film Mart at the 2018 trinidad + tobago film festival. The project already got great feedback in a pitch workshop led by former head of BBC drama Peter Ansorge, who now runs the short courses department at the UK’s National Film and Television School, and we’re in the process of attracting funding for the series. We’re also working on getting a short film that we’ve written into production.

Our writing has been featured in various publications, including Caribbean Beat, MACO Caribbean Living, Trinidad Weddings, The Ticket, and Business Trinidad and Tobago. We’ve contributed to the Sunday Guardian arts section and been featured as a guest columnist in the Trinidad Express. Our work has also been republished on Public Radio International and referenced on Al Jazeera, the BBC and Australia’s ABC Radio National.
We have significant expertise with digital media, social media marketing and management, as well as editorial experience with corporate publications, newsletters and annual reports for clients that range from large conglomerates to energy sector companies. We also provide Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) copy services for websites and other digital applications.
Creative
We’re really passionate about creative writing projects that meld stories with visuals — a children’s storybook we wrote alongside the project’s creator, Jeunanne Alkins of Everything Slight Pepper, was published in 2019. Prior to this, we also worked on the first season of Jeunanne’s animated children’s series concept, “Bim and Bam”.
We’re currently working on a print project we’re very excited about and will share details as soon as we can.
